Perfect! It’s about a three hour ride from Front Royal to the end of Skyline Drive (Waynesboro, VA). From there I’ll head back to Woodstock and catch up to to the group sometime Thursday. And, Friday night dinner sounds good.

Glad you are going to be there … great riding in the area. If you want some company on your Skyline Drive ride, I can meet you in Front Royal on Wednesday.

Fantastic riding in the area. I’ll be leaving for Woodstock on Tuesday the 2nd.
I’ll be staying in an apartment in downtown Woodstock and hanging out at the
rally site in the evenings. Hope to see a good showing from the Club.07/11/2019 at 4:08 am #28844
So far, the weather looks dry for the weekend. I’m planning on going to the Catawba Island VFD Chicken & Corn Roast on Saturday. Anyone else going??04/13/2019 at 9:28 pm #27562
My “Mental Tune-up” will be a Motorcycle Ohio Experienced Rider Course BRC-2 that I signed up for. Never hurts to brush up on the riding skills …. Arp
BTW … It’s a real shame that there is only one class for all of Northern Ohio ….03/13/2019 at 10:33 pm #27205
Lauren … I always use Odyssey batteries. They are not cheap, but in batteries, I believe you get what you pay for. The PC680 Odyssey for my RT is $129 on Amazon. https://www.odysseybattery.com/ . Mine is on it’s 6th season this year.
The secret to battery longevity is to have it on a battery maintenance charger whenever you’re not riding the bike. This is the one I would recommend ….
http://products.batterytender.com/Dion/Battery-Tender-Junior-12V-0-75A.html . Amazon has it for around $25.
No mater which battery you get, keep it on the Battery Tender.

A hybrid motorcycle because 50mpg on an RT is not enough? These bikes are just getting WAY to complicated. I would consider an electric, but no way a hybrid. And how much is that thing going to weight? Oh well, I’m keeping my 09 RT …. FOREVER!02/02/2019 at 1:16 pm #26968
I signed up for the advanced rider class (BRS-2). The last time I took the class was back in 2007 on the RT … it was fun.
This should be a blast on the G310R.
What’s pathetic though, is that there is only “ONE” BRS-2 class offered for the ENTIRE year in Cuyahoga County.
Motorcycle Ohio preaches motorcycle safety, refresher class every two years, but then only offers one class for 12 people
for the whole year???
I felt guilty taking a spot from someone who might REALLY need the class.
