I finally got my act together and pulled out an old route to Ye Olde Mill at Velvet Ice Cream in Utica. Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for plenty of sunshine and a high of 91 so I think that sounds like a perfect day for a trip to Utica!
I will be at Bob’s in Macedonia at 9 for breakfast and we can all meet at 10 in the parking lot for a brief ride overview and then be on our way. I love riding the beautiful tree covered roads in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park so we’ll start with some windy roads on our way across the valley and then on to Bath Road where we get on route 77/21 to run through farm country on 585 to get to our rest stop on the far side of Wooster. After our break we will head a short way south on route 3 to pick up route 226 to Shreve and then on to route 514 as we exit Shreve. We pass through Nashville where route 39 crosses 514 and then on to ice cream in Utica!
All food is ordered at the counter and then picked up carry out style for dining there. We can dine inside, oh the outdoor patio or we could use the pavilion which should be available for us to use.
Looking for some great riding on a beautiful day with some great friends. Hope to see you in the morning at Bob’s!
