On Saturday, July 18 we’ll meet at Bob Evans in Macedonia (I-271 and Rte 8). The ride will depart promptly at 10 AM. Come earlier if you’d like to have breakfast or coffee. The restaurant is now open for dining in as well as take out.

Come with a full tank of gas and bring your mask. We’ll follow the Governor’s guidelines on social distancing and wearing masks as much as possible.

We will head west and drop in to the windy and tree covered roads of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park as we run south and then head out of the Valley on Yellow Creek on our way to the beautiful homes of Bath and then on to Routes 77/21 at Ghent Road. From here we travel south and then take Route 585 to Route 94 for our rest stop at the BellStore in Dalton – that’s just across Route 30 from the world-famous Dalton Dariette. From here we continue south to Mount Eaton for a left turn on Route 250 to Route 93. 93 has plenty of rolling terrain and gentle bends that wind through little communities like Dundee, Pearl, and Baltic as we head to Route 36 and West Lafayette as we turn east on Route 36 to our lunch stop at the Raven’s Glen Winery.

We should arrive at the winery around 12:30 for a quiet lunch on the patio behind the main building.

There are lots of options for after lunch as Roscoe Village is approximately 10 miles west on 36 and the ice cream shop is definitely worth a visit. If you’re looking for winding roads to head north you might check out Route 83 which heads north to Millersburg and then continues on to Wooster. Rotes 62, 39 and 241 also continue out of Millersburg if you want to get a closer look at Amish life in that area. The quickest way home is Route 36 east to Route 77 and head north.

The .GPX file has been uploaded to the BMWMOC club site – just look for the Ravens Glen Winery
