Anyone who is planning to come to Roar on the Shore in Erie, PA this year (July 17-21)…

The Roar on the Shore will not be located at Perry Square in downtown Erie in 2019.  The location for 2019 is at the Lake Erie Speedway in North East, PA (at the intersection of I-86 and Rt 89).  It is approximately 20 miles southeast of downtown Erie.
Per the website https://roarontheshore.com/ – “Roar traffic is urged to avoid I-86 currently under construction.  All eastbound and westbound I-90 motorcycles should use Exit 40 south, Rt 89 to Roar on the Shore.”

The parade of bikes will be taking a different route this year, it will not be coming through downtown Erie.

The Gears and Grub food truck festival will be held at Perry Square in downtown Erie the same weekend, July 19-21.

Hey Marc, Thanks for the UPdate on the REAL Location. I was originally under the impression the Roar was in Downtown Erie, not 20+ miles outside of town. That makes a BIG difference in availablity of eating choices and hotels for those staying over. NOT as good a location (in My opinion) as last year.
