If you are contemplating an adventure to less developed parts of the world, or maybe just an extended solo trip, you might be interested in attending one of Horizon Unlimited’s Travellers Meetings. They hold Travellers Meetings all over the world, but the next one in our backyard will be at a campground near Appomattox, Virginia on September 30 through October 3. The program will include seminars on all sorts of topics related to adventure travel, clinics and demonstrations, and lots of opportunities to chat with folks who have done what you are contemplating. You’ll come away with lots of information and enthusiasm for your adventure. Several of us in the club are thinking of going. Let me know if you might be interested.
