The second and last GPS/Basecamp User Group meeting this spring will take place Saturday, <span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>April 10, at 10 AM</span> on Zoom. The link to join is:

As always, this will be informal meeting for folks to ask questions, show their work, pick up some hints, and learn about useful resources and all things related to using GPSs and Basecamp. Since more members are doing off-road rides we’ll spend some time going over what GPS tracks are, how they work, and how they are different than GPS routes. Not all devices can handle tracks, but you can convert tracks to routes if you need to to use them on your device. We’ll also talk about how to load tracks into your device and get them to display – once you get the hang of it it’s easy to do, and tracks have some distinct advantages over routes.
If you have any other question or problem you’d like us to address please let me know and I’ll make sure someone is prepared with an answer. These meetings are for people of all levels of experience – no question is too “dumb” to ask, and we are eager to learn everything we can about GPS and Basecamp.
Hope to see you Saturday!
