For our first Saturday club ride of the season, we will head southwest to Bucyrus, OH to search out several historical markers and locations for all club MoCal enthusiasts. We will meet for breakfast at the Bob Evans restaurant located at 3198 Center Rd., Brunswick, OH 44212  at 9 AM for breakfast and depart promptly at 10 AM. The first part of our trip will be via I 71 to pick up US Route 30 westbound. We will visit a few historical markers plus a couple of old rstored service stations on our way to downtown Bucyrus. Once downtown, we will park the bikes and walk a short tour to several more interesting locations. Bring your cameras as photo ops are always a part of my rides. After one more marker stop just west of downtown, we will head back east to Carle’s Bratwurst for lunch. For the trip home, we will continue on a short section of the Lincoln Highway before following SR 96 to Ashland, Route 42 to Lodi and then 83 north to Litchfield, location of our last stop and the end of the ride. From here, riders may continure N on 83 to the far western suburbs or east on 18 to I71 N and I271 north and east. A .gpx file of the route will be found in the GPS Routes Folder.
