    Hi Jessica,

I ride a 2015 R1200GS with 54,789 miles on it. My last 3 (and current) sets have been Michelin Anakee Adventures. They are my favorite all-around tires: I trust them 100% in the curves, in the rain, and they are surprisingly competent for light off-road duty. What sold me on them was how well they handled snotty slick fire roads in western PA with no issues. They are quiet and smooth and have a good tread life. Way better than the Anakee 3s (loud, vibrations) that came on the bike new. I ran a TKC-70 rear with a Metzler Tourance Next on the front for a while. They were great on the road but not near as good as the Adventures on the trails. Also tried a set of Pirelli Scorpion Rally STRs for a short while. The Scorpions were too loud and vibey for my liking so I didn’t have them on the bike very long.

I’m mostly a street/touring rider but I like fire roads once in a while. As you know, tires are very subjective, so take it for what it’s worth. If you ride mostly street with some light off-road thrown in there, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed with the Anakee Adventures.
