I started using MyRoute app last summer and have become a fan mainly for the ability to create/edit routes on a phone/tablet while away from home. The only Basecamp function I miss is the multi day trip planner, but creating a route for an entire trip and then use the split function to divide into daily routes has been working for me. I use the free phone version since I only use it to edit routes and then export to the BMW Connected App or Garmin.
They have frequent deals for lifetime subscriptions to the “gold” web version, phone version or bundle that make it much more affordable.
