First time there I had to ride it twice because there was a pickup pulling a boat trailer. Did find a place for a safe pass but decided to ride again without the obstruction.
Years later had a safe ride with my wife and stayed for a couple of nights in Gatlinburg because of the weather.
A group ride/stay sounds like a good idea for a springtime/summer long weekend (or midweek for the “older crowd” me included).
