About Us

WELCOME to the BMW Motorcycle Owners of Cleveland (BMWMOC) Chapter #196.  We are a chartered club under the BMW Motorcycles of America and the BMW Rider’s Association.  

The BMWMOC is an active local club comprised of approximately 180 members from all over northern Ohio, and even Pennsylvania and Michigan!  It is a great forum to meet fellow motorcycle enthusiasts, find riding buddies, find out about local rallies and far-flung events, and to RIDE. We have many long-distance rider members, short-distance riders, as well as off-road enthusiasts.  We have mid-week rides for the retired folks, and weekend rides for those still working, and weekend getaways. So, whatever style of riding trips your trigger, we can probably accommodate you.  

The club is only as good as its membership, so we count on YOU to be an active member in whatever capacity is most comfortable for you.  So, THANK YOU for becoming a member if you have already joined.  If not, please consider joining to have access to all we have to offer.  As we are a 501(c)(7) non-profit organization we rely on membership dues, 50/50 ticket sales, and donations to finance our meetings, events, and giveaways.  

Join us at our monthly membership/business meetings to meet your fellow club members and to help plan events which invariably result in good times. The winter meetings are held indoors, and usually someplace where members can dine before the meeting begins.  The summer meetings are held in the great open fresh air, usually at a local Metropark pavilion, and you are invited to brown-bag it.
